Cape Breton

Cape Breton combines eventful history with spectacular landscape on 10.000 square km. Tradition of acadians and scottish settlers are still alive on the island. Many place names date back to Micmac indians or Gaelic origin. Since 1955 Cape Breton is connected to the main land via an 1500 m causeway. Cape Breton is often pictured as one of the most beautiful islands.
